Adam Morgan
Dr. Adam Morgan is a postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience at the NYU School of Medicine. His research uses high-resolution brain recordings (ECoG) from awake neurosurgical patients to investigate how the brain transforms thoughts into language. He holds a BA in physics and music from Middlebury College, an MA in linguistics from UC Santa Cruz, and a PhD in experimental psychology from UC San Diego. As a gay man who grew up in the Deep South, Dr. Morgan brings a personal commitment to social justice, with a particular passion for increasing diversity in science. As a former mentor to two CDM fellows, he brings hands-on experience to his position on the board. He is honored to support CDM’s mission to increase representation in STEMM through long-term, meaningful mentorship.
