Cheryl Loudd
Cheryl Loudd is currently the Business Services Program Manager in the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Prior to this role, she was the fellowship coordinator for the CU PCCM training program from 2017 – 2021. Her professional passions are education, DEI, mentorship, and workplace wellness--she is very fortunate to be able to integrate all of these areas into her current role to create a more inclusive work environment in her division.
Everyone has had at least one person throughout their lives that has helped them reach the place they are today. Having someone willing to invest in the lives of young people is critical to increasing diversity in our workplace and building confidence in their themselves. Cheryl hopes to use her position on the CDM Board to help increase exposure to STEMM for young people from underrepresented communities. Engaging young people in science and medicine and early exposure to leaders in the field is key to instilling a positive attitude toward lifelong learning and scientific/medical careers.
